Lukas Rousek et Jan Kern ont ajouté des buts d’assurance en troisième période, terminant la rencontre avec un but et une aide chacun. Daniel Dvorak et Tomas Vomacka se sont partagé la tâche devant le filet pour les Tchèques, repoussant ensemble 26 des 27 tirs dirigés vers eux.
